PNG to PDF
Make one PDF from your photos.
How to PNG to PDF
Screenshots, scanned forms saved as PNG and exported diagrams all end up as PNG files, and most portals want a PDF. Add your PNG images here and each one becomes a page, in the order you add them. PNG is lossless, and the images are placed into the PDF as they are, so sharp text in a screenshot stays sharp.
- Add one or more PNG images, in the order you want the pages.
- Pick fit-to-image pages or A4, and add a margin if you want one.
- Press Create PDF and download the finished file.
Runs in your browser. Your file is processed on your own device and is never uploaded to our servers.
Why use this tool
PNG is the format phones and computers use for screenshots, which makes it the usual way people capture a payment receipt, a result page or a chat for a record. Turning those into one PDF gives you a single file to email or upload instead of a handful of images.
Because PNG keeps every pixel, the PDF pages look exactly like the screenshots. The trade off is size: a PNG of a photo can be large. If a form has a size limit, run the finished PDF through the PDF resizer and pick a target in KB.
The conversion happens inside your browser, so screenshots of bank apps or ID documents are never sent to a server.
Questions people ask
Can I mix PNG and JPG images in one PDF?
Yes. The tool accepts both, and each image becomes its own page in the order you add them.
Does a transparent PNG work?
Yes. Transparent areas show the page colour, which is white. Interlaced PNGs are the one kind that cannot be placed directly, so re-save those or convert them to JPG first.
How many PNG files can I convert at once?
Up to 50 images at a time, and up to 150MB in total, because everything runs in your browser's memory.
Do I need an account?
No. Add the images, create the PDF and download it without signing up. Nothing is uploaded, so there is nothing to sign in for.
Why is my PDF larger than I expected?
PNG images are embedded without re-compressing them, so the PDF is about as big as the images. Use Compress PDF or the PDF resizer afterwards to bring it down.
