How to reorder PDF pages

Scanned a form and the pages came out jumbled? Open the PDF, see every page as a thumbnail and drag them into the right sequence. You can also tap to select pages and move them with buttons, which is easier on a phone. Pages are moved rather than rebuilt, so form fields, links and bookmarks survive, and nothing is uploaded.

  1. Open the PDF whose page order you want to fix.
  2. Drag the page thumbnails into place, or select pages and use the move buttons.
  3. Press Save order and download the reordered PDF.

Runs in your browser. Your file is processed on your own device and is never uploaded to our servers.

Questions people ask

Can I move several pages at once?

Yes. Select more than one page, then move them together. On a keyboard, hold Alt and use the arrow keys to move the selection.

Will my fillable fields and bookmarks still work?

Yes. The tool moves the existing pages instead of copying them into a new document, so form fields, annotations and the outline stay with the file.

Can I remove or turn pages here too?

This page saves the new order only, and every page stays in the file. To remove pages use Delete pages, and to fix sideways scans use Rotate PDF.

Is my document uploaded?

No. The thumbnails and the reordering are both done in your browser, so the PDF stays on your device.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. On a touch screen, tap the pages to select them and then use the move buttons, so you never have to drag tiny thumbnails around. The saved file stays about the same size as the original, because pages are moved rather than copied.
