How to merge PDF

Got your marksheets, ID proof and application form as separate PDFs? Drop them all here, drag the tiles into the order you need and download a single file. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays sharp and nothing is re-compressed. The whole merge happens inside your browser, which means your documents never leave your phone or laptop.

  1. Add two or more PDF files from your phone or computer.
  2. Drag the file tiles into the order you want them joined.
  3. Press Merge PDFs and download the combined file.

Runs in your browser. Your file is processed on your own device and is never uploaded to our servers.

Why use this tool

Application portals usually take one file per document, so a mark sheet, a caste certificate and an ID proof scanned separately have to become one PDF. Merging them here takes a few seconds and keeps each page exactly as it was scanned.

Because the merge runs on your own device, it works the same on a slow connection as on a fast one: nothing has to upload first. That also means sensitive documents are never stored anywhere but your phone or laptop.

If the combined file is over a portal's size limit, the PDF resizer can bring it under a target like 500 KB without you guessing at quality settings.

Questions people ask

Are my PDFs uploaded to your server?

No. The merge runs in your browser using your device's own memory, so the files are never sent anywhere.

How many files or how much data can I merge?

You need at least two PDFs, and the browser handles up to 150MB of files in total. Above that, your device may not have enough memory to finish safely, so the tool tells you before it starts.

Will the quality of my pages drop?

No. Each page is copied into the new file as it is, without re-rendering or compressing, so scans and text look exactly like the originals.

One of my files is password protected. Can I still merge it?

Not directly. Remove the password first with Unlock PDF, using the password you already have, then merge the unlocked copy.

The merged file is too big to email. What now?

Run it through Compress PDF next. It shrinks the images inside the file, which is where most of the size usually is.
