How to watermark PDF
Sending a copy of your ID or a draft proposal and want to mark what it is for? Type a text watermark like "CONFIDENTIAL" or "For bank KYC only", pick one of nine positions and set how see-through it should be. Stamp every page or only the first. The text is sized automatically to fit each page, and the file is never uploaded.

Questions people ask
Can I use my logo as a watermark?
Not yet. The PDF watermark tool stamps text only. For photos, Watermark image can place text or a logo.
Can I write the watermark in Hindi?
Not at the moment. The built-in font covers English letters, numbers and common symbols, and the tool tells you if your text includes characters it cannot draw.
Will the watermark hide my content?
Opacity is adjustable from 5% to 100%, and the default of 35% keeps the page readable underneath.
Why add a watermark to an ID copy?
Writing the purpose, such as the name of the bank or the date, on a copy of your ID makes it harder for anyone to reuse that copy for something else.
Is my document uploaded to add the watermark?
No. The text is stamped onto the pages inside your browser, so the PDF never leaves your device. Your original file is not changed, and you download a separate watermarked copy.
