How to HTML to PDF

Have an .html file, such as an exported report, an invoice template or a page you saved from a browser? Upload it and we render it in a real browser engine, then print it to PDF with the layout intact. Choose the paper size and orientation, and whether background colours and images are printed. Files load nothing from the internet, so styles and images need to be inside the file.

Questions people ask

Why are some images or styles missing from my PDF?

For safety, uploaded HTML loads nothing from the internet. Inline styles, inline SVG and images embedded as data URIs render, but links to outside images or stylesheets do not, and the result tells you how many were skipped.

How do I convert a live website instead of a file?

Use URL to PDF. You paste the address and we load the public page for you.

Which paper sizes can I choose?

A4, US Letter and US Legal, each in portrait or landscape.

What does Print background graphics do?

When it is on, background colours and images appear in the PDF as they do on screen. Turning it off matches most printers' defaults and saves ink.

Is there a file size limit?

HTML files up to 24 MB can be rendered. If yours is larger, it usually has big embedded images that can be made smaller first.
